EV Charging at Dufton Barn Holidays

We have a dedicated EV charging point, available for your exclusive use when you are staying with us.  The unit is an ICS charger and is suitable for all EV cars, but you will need to have your own Type 2 cable connection appropriate for your vehicle.

You simply to download the Charge Assist app and follow the instructions when you log in to link with our EV charger, which gives you access to the payment options.  Alternatively you can use your phone to scan the QR code located on the front of the charger when you are here.  Current charges are at 50p per kWh, but we reserve the right to alter this according to the cost of electricity at the time.

Charging an EV from one of our standard domestic 13A sockets is not permitted, could be dangerous, and may invalidate our insurance.

The nearest alternative EV charging point is located in the car park of Appleby Manor, only 3 miles away, and is a BP Pulse charging point.  On your journey to Dufton you will also find charging points at Scotch Corner, Penrith, and Tebay Services.
